Sugar ball donut is usually one of the desserts I eat at an Asian buffet. The soft and delicious donut covered in sugar makes this dessert super tasty!
You can make this delicious dessert very easily. It only takes about a minute of frying. There’s no need to make the dough (Although you can if you want). Just buy one of those buttermilk biscuit dough that comes in a can. The brand does not matter. You will more likely see a Pillsbury brand at your local supermarket but any generic brand will do.
You can roll the individual pieces into a ball shape if you want a perfectly round donut. I’m not picky on the shape so I just simply separate the pieces which normally comes in 10 or 12 pieces in a can and deep fry them straight out.
The dough cooks very quickly so just fry it for about a minute or until it turns golden brown. You can also add cinnamon mixed in with the sugar if you want extra flavor.
