Heck, there is no need to even make the dough for these sugar ball donuts, as you will use a can of buttermilk biscuit dough. The brand does not matter, as any kind will work.
Once you have the dough cut into slices, you can roll them into a ball shape. This allows you to create a perfectly round donut. If you are not worried about the shape of the donuts, then separate the pieces from the can and start deep frying.
Since we are deep frying, the dough cooks pretty quickly. You are most likely going to finish in less than a minute. Once done, place into the sugar and you have a fresh, sweet treat. If you want some extra flavor, feel free to add some cinnamon in with the sugar.
