Marinated beef on a stick is a delicious dish that you can grill in just a few minutes. I normally serve this as an appetizer but you can also have this as a main dish with hot rice.
I used beef flank and sliced it against the grain to keep that tender texture. Slice it thin so that the beef cooks quickly.
Marinating the beef only involves a few basic ingredients you probably already have in your pantry. Optionally, you can add Hoisin sauce to add a little bit of sweetness in the marinate. Since the beef are sliced thin, it does not take long to marinate the meat. Just marinated for about 10 minutes.
Depending on how hot your grill is going, cooking the meat should only take a few minutes. Don’t overcook the beef as it will toughen the meat and lose all the juices inside.

- Beef 5 Strips
- Bamboo Sticks 5 Pieces
- Soy Sauce 2 Tbsp
- Ginger 1 Tsp
- Garlic 1 Tsp
- Cooking Wine 1/2 Tsp
- Black Pepper 1/8 Tsp
- Lemon Juice 1/2 Tsp
- Thinly slice beef against the grain. Cut 5 strips of beef.
- Combine marinated ingredients ( soy sauce, ginger, garlic, cooking wine, black pepper, lemon juice). Add beef and marinate for 10 minutes.
- Skewer the marinated beef slices in a bamboo skewer.
- Grill each skewered beef in medium heat.
